Too many streaming services

The World Baseball Classic shows up on one platform, Major League Baseballspreads itself across three more, and somehow watching the Detroit Tigers requires a combination of subscriptions, logins, and minor acts of faith.

Every service has that same “free trial” hook, just enough to get you in the door before you forget you signed up, only to realize later you’re paying monthly for something you used once to watch a random game in April. Half the time I don’t even know what I have anymore. I’m bouncing between apps like a pinball, trying to remember which one actually has the game, resetting passwords like I’m cracking into Fort Knox, only to be greeted with blackout restrictions or a “not available in your area” message that might as well just say good luck, idiot.

At some point, watching a baseball game became less about sitting back and enjoying it, and more about navigating a digital maze built by people who clearly don’t actually watch baseball. I just want to turn the game on. That’s it. Not manage a portfolio of subscriptions, not chase down which service decided to host tonight’s matchup, not play detective with my own login credentials. Just give me the game and let baseball be baseball again.
